City City Bang Bang and the Twin Town Challenge 2016

One hundred cars, each costing less than £500, will drive from Witney to Le Touquet between 27th-30th May 2016 to raise money for Oxfordshire-based SpecialEffect.

The charity enables disabled people to use computers in any way possible, using whichever part(s) of their body that work best for them. They adapt technology to every individual’s needs. This can hugely benefit rehabilitation, mental wellbeing and quality of life, as well as give lots of much-needed fun! Those they work with range from a university professor using eye control software to mark student assignments, through to an amazing little girl who lost all four lower limbs through meningitis.

Shawcity are one of the main sponsors of the Twin Town Challenge, which will see the teams complete driving challenges at various locations en route including Silverstone and Croix en Ternois. Our team car this year is a 1997 Mercedes E280 and we are one of the 100 teams trying to raise £250,000 this year for the charity.

If you would like to support Shawcity’s team ‘City City Bang Bang’, any donations are very welcome! For any business sponsorship of £100 or above, we can offer the following by way of thanks:

- You can add your own sticker of your company logo to any of the areas indicated on the car shown below.

- Tags for your company in our social media updates for all pre- and post-event activities, so you can follow progress to Le Touquet and back and generate your own PR through your association with the event.

- A post-event photo of your logo on the car and a certificate confirming your sponsorship and how much the team raised in total.

All donations and sponsorship payments can be made online. BT’s MyDonate takes 0% commission, so 100% of your donation will go direct to the charity. The link to use is: .
